یاد رکھنے والی بات
کام کی انگریزی تین عادتوں پر: دنوں پر on ساتھ گھنٹوں پر at، ڈیڈ لائن پر by، reply to و responsible for جیسے پکے جوڑے۔

01Meetings: when and where
Schedule it fully: a meeting on Monday at 10 a.m. in Room 301 with the team. Days take on, clock times take at, rooms take in, and people take with — four prepositions in one sentence, each doing its own job. Join the call on Zoom or in person; attend takes no preposition at all — attend the meeting, not attend to the meeting.
We have a review on Monday at 10 a.m.

02Deadlines: by, until, in
Finish it by Friday: the work may land any time before Friday ends. Work until Friday: the effort continues up to that point. Finish it in two days: the duration the task needs. Managers hear three different promises here, so choosing correctly is not grammar decoration — it is the commitment itself.
Please send the slides by Friday.

03Emails: to, attachments, replies
Send the file to her, cc the manager, and mention the details in the attachment — or attached to this email. Reply to his message, forward it to the team, and apologize for the delay. Each verb brings its partner: reply to, respond to, attach to, apologize for. Copy these five into your next real email and they become yours.
I will reply to his message this afternoon.

04Owning the work
Responsibility has its own vocabulary: responsible for the budget, in charge of the team, work on the project, focus on quality. Talk about topics with about — a report about sales — or the formal regarding. And never write discuss about or contact with: discuss the plan, contact me directly. These two errors mark non-native writing instantly.
